Write for us

Bright Daily Dispatch welcomes pitches for clear, original pieces about planning, reuse, everyday care, making and household habits. Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option.

What to pitch

Propose one defined subject and explain the useful idea a reader will take away. A strong pitch has a specific angle, suits one of the publication's sections and offers a fresh treatment rather than a broad list of tips. Tell us whether the piece explains a process, compares choices, explores background, corrects a misconception or serves a particular occasion.

Keep it grounded

We favour ideas readers can adapt safely without specialist tools, professional oversight or checking rules that vary by place. Explain the limits of a suggestion, avoid unsupported claims, and do not present personal experience as proof that an approach works for everyone.

What to include

Include a working title, a short outline, the intended reader and a brief note about relevant experience. Disclose any interests or relationships connected to the proposed subject. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; do not send confidential material or work that is not yours to share.
